The Virginia Case Competition was founded in 2023 by co-directors Sanjeev Kumar (COMM 2023) and Oscar Daum (COMM 2023). They both have competed in several case competitions during their time in college, since their first year, and have truly loved the problem-solving and team building experiences that is entailed from these endeavors.

In their final year at UVA, they, along with the Virginia Case Club at UVA, built the first intercollegiate case competition hosted by the University of Virginia, to build a community of talented and capable undergraduate students and to challenge their analytical and critical-thinking skills along the way.
